RES is seeking an Entry-level Project Accountant to join our corporate accounting team, based in either our Houston, TX office or another specified location.   Initially, your role will involve supporting the Project Accounting Manager in their day-to-day tasks, with the potential to eventually oversee operations in four out of our eight regions. During your first 180-360 days, you will receive comprehensive training from two senior members of our project accounting team to ensure you are fully equipped for the role. The mission: work closely with key stakeholders to implement, configure, and maintain various systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting internal accounting and operational teams with technical solutions. The ideal candidate for this role would possess a broad understanding of systems on a large scale, functioning as an IT generalist with a blend of helpdesk support and design capabilities. The mission: Reporting to the Regional Sciences Manager, this position will support our clients and operations teams with knowledgeable ecological consulting and high-quality project delivery across a variety of ecosystem restoration and mitigation projects. The Scientist will need knowledge and experience in a wide range of ecologically related disciplines such as soils, water, plants, animals, and restoration, as well as the regulatory environment of mitigation projects. Occasional travel is expected with some overnight stays; field work is expected around 30% of your time.

The mission: Join a growing, multi-disciplinary, and innovative team of restoration designers and water resource engineers currently working on some of the nation’s largest stream and wetland restoration projects, hydraulic and hydrology investigations, and sustainable stormwater management. This position will be assigned to the project in Lockport, IL.    The mission: This position is approximately 10% at the RES field office, 90% in the field. The primary function of the Restoration Supervisor II is to complete restoration work in the field and supervise Restoration Technicians. 

RES is seeking people interested in a natural resources career as a Restoration Technician I based out of our ​Albany, NY office.     In the Northeast, RES provides a full array of ecological restoration and consulting services, stream and shoreline construction, wetland mitigation banking, and green infrastructure installation to clients in the private and public sectors, the main work site is in New York.     A successful candidate for this position will be interested in gaining experience in the following areas: invasive plant species control, native plant and seed installation, stream, and shoreline stabilization/construction, prescribed burning, and other types of habitat restoration.     This position is Full-time but depends on the workload and weather conditions. RES is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to assist with the facilitation of projects to ensure timely execution through organization of project components and are completed within budget. This position will be assigned to the project in Milwaukee, Chicago, Indiana.   The mission: The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and/or oversight of each project and will report project progress, issues, concerns, to the PM.  It is expected that the APM will be able to attend site meetings and coordinate with the onsite inspectors, visitors, and other parties associated with the project as a part of their daily duties.  Should project issues arise the APM will coordinate with the PM for guidance and issue resolution.
