The mission: Our Ecology teams out of Dania Beach / Orlando offices are looking for a Ecology intern to support the environmental and field personnel with all aspects of field work, technical data entry and other administrative support. Our eco staff live as far north as Boynton Beach and as far south as Key West over 220 miles (one-way), so the team really covers the southeast coast. What an opportunity to acquire unvaluable field skills such as ArcGIS and even look in tree cavities for the bonneted bat (a federally listed species), with a “peeper cam”!

RES is accepting applications for Stormwater Management and Field Ecology Intern,based out of our Annandale, Virginia office. Interns are expected to provide transportation to and from the office and, on occasion, field sites.
You can expect a weekly workload ranging between 30-40 hours during the months of May through August. The work schedule is primarily traditional weekday, but also will include occasional early morning or evening during daylight hours when stormwater sampling can be performed.

Did you know that the RES Mud Creek site in East Tennessee contains 4 miles of stream restoration & over 6 miles of stream preservation? Our team of engineers and designers assisted from conceptual design through construction & as-built!
Our team of engineers and designers participates in a monthly “reference reach day”. We collect geomorphic data on high-quality stream reaches to inform design decisions. Besides, the team really enjoys Mexican food. We always stop for lunch at small-town Mexican restaurants while in the field!
