RES is currently accepting applications for an Ecology Intern, based out of our Nashville, TN office to support them in these projects. This internship typically runs May-August, but the duration is negotiable based on your schedule.   The mission: As the Ecology Intern, you will work with ecology and regulatory personnel to perform all aspects of fieldwork and assist with data entry and compilation of technical reports. You will work under the supervision of a senior member of the Ecology team, in a group of like-minded people who are all passionate about the earth and who occasionally get to work with their four-legged friends out in the field!   Did you know that our Ecology team in the South East has project sites all over Tennessee and Georgia? This gives them a great opportunity to explore the regions’ diverse and beautiful landscapes from the Appalachians in the east to the tributaries of the west, coastal plain of GA, and the rolling hills of middle TN. For example, the state endangered stream side salamander has been observed on our Mule Train Mitigation Bank project site!
