RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability through the establishment of mitigation/conservation banks, permittee responsible turnkey mitigation, and corporate social responsibility projects.   The regional project accountant position is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating job cost variances, accurate coding expenses to job cost task and sub-tasks, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

RES is seeking a Project Manager I/ II with 3+ years of experience based out of our Mid-Atlantic offices.   The mission: to own the delivery of large and complex environmental restoration projects on-time, within scope and within budget, in the Mid-Atlantic region.   We are looking for someone who identifies as a communicator: who knows how to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders (including RES staff, regulators, clients, and subcontractors); a leader: who knows how to manage multi-disciplinary teams (field ecology, GIS, regulatory, engineering, finance, construction) for the successful execution of projects; and a planner: you will oversee the development of permit applications, support and review drawings/graphics, schedule field work, QA/QC deliverables, and assign duties to the team according to your work plan.

RES is looking for applicants with prior experience in the ecological restoration field.  The job will consist of 100% field work ranging from invasive brush cutting, tree felling, planting, seeding, and maintenance of natural areas through equipment operations and herbicide application.   Work is seasonally steady and often will require over 50 hours per week. Some weekend work required during peak periods. Significant travel may be required for some projects throughout the region.  Travel with overnight stays of 2-6 night periods will be required for some job sites.

RES is currently accepting applications for Regulatory Specialists with at least 5 years of experience in wetland and species regulatory permitting based out of either our Nashville, TN offices.   The mission: RES is growing exponentially in the Southeast, and so is the regulatory team. You will be supporting the Regulatory Manager and larger Project Management team in conducting field work and preparing various environmental documents and regulatory permit packages to support our growing list of medium to large scale restoration projects. Work will primarily focus on technical writing, with some field work, with the potential to grow into a Project Management position.   Data analysis and preparation of associated reports, mitigation bank documents, and regulatory permits required in order to build restoration projects will comprise the main portion of the work. Our regulatory specialists are supported by senior ecologists and project managers and other resource experts across the country.   To be successful in this position and be able to grow you should be an independent thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and navigating the regulatory requirements within the Southeast region.

RES is looking for a Sr. Corporate FP&A Analyst to support our Corporate function, based out of our Houston, TX office.   The mission: RES is growing year over year, and so does the finance team that supports the operations on a regional basis. As the Sr. Corporate FP&A Analyst, you will be the right hand of the Corporate Finance Manager, helping to consolidate reporting and analysis for the RES executive leadership team and Board. You will also lead the corporate cashflow forecasting and financing processes working closely with the CFO and our lenders to effectively manage the organizations cashflow needs. Finally, you will support department owners understand their OPEX spend and forecasting as well as support the Corporate Finance Manager with both recurring and ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.   We are looking for a keen analytical mind, who is never satisfied with the status quo and is always curious about the why of things.
