We are currently accepting applications for an Ecology Intern in our Athens, GA office. This internship typically runs May-August, but the duration is negotiable based on your schedule.   The Ecology Intern will work with ecology and regulatory personnel to perform all aspects of fieldwork and assist with data entry and compilation of technical reports.. The intern will work under the supervision of a senior member of the Ecology team. You will be part of the fast-paced and rapid-growing company with a mission as part of a team that is always ready to support you in your learning process!     Your internship will teach you the foundations of stream and wetland restoration through on-the-job practical learning. You will: - Delve into the foundational aspects of fluvial geomorphology, where you will gain an understanding of the interactions of streams and their in-stream and riparian processes in Tennessee and Georgia. Gain insight into the critical parameters of hydrology and sediment dynamics applicable to both pre-and post-restoration sites. - Engage in vegetation monitoring, where you'll refine your skills in identifying native and invasive species. Utilize specialized apps to seamlessly collect and organize data, all while becoming well-versed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) guiding these essential practices. - Embark on a journey of diverse data collection methodologies. Your mentor will guide you through the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) measures. Whether it's vegetation, hydrology, biology, or other parameters, we're here to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for comprehensive data collection.

The Credit Sales Manager will drive sales by establishing trusted advisor relationships with clients, aligning current and future supply with qualified demand, understanding the regulatory nexus within which credits can satisfy impact projects, and delivering comprehensive mitigation bank credit solutions to clients. You will be dealing with a broad spectrum of third-party stakeholders including environmental permitting firms, engineering and design firms, EPC firms, environmental attorneys, regulatory agencies and associated resource agencies, non-governmental conservation groups, chambers of commerce and other economic development entities, client industry associations, etc.  This is a dynamic position perfect for a Sales/Customer Service personality mixed with an understanding of the environmental regulations that affect Credit Buyers. RES is looking for a RegionalFinance Analyst to support our operations in the Gulf region, based out of the Houston, TX office in a hybrid setting.   The mission: RES is growing exponentially year over year, and so does the finance team that supports the operations on a regional basis. As the Regional Finance Analyst and reporting to the Sr. FP&A Analyst you will be the right hand of the operations manager, helping them to understand business drivers and financial trends of the region, question results, suggest improvements, and ultimately provide them with the information and analysis they need to successfully lead the region.   We are looking for a keen analytical mind, who is never satisfied with the status quo and is always curious about the why of things. Since you will be in constant contact with Project Managers, Operations Managers, and Client Solutions Managers who will help you make sense of the numbers, you will need to possess strong relationship-building skills.

Work associated with this position will primarily occur within Georgia and Tennessee.   The Engineer/Designer IV will facilitate and oversee activities of engineers and design staff engaged in planning, designing, and implementing restoration projects.The ideal candidate would be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ecosystem restoration. You can expect to implement innovative solutions on challenging restoration projects, lead technical discussions when interacting with multi-disciplinary staff and regulatory agencies, and mentoring junior staff. While staff management is not required, this position may create an opportunity for personnel management if desired. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of a diverse set of restoration projects through delegation and collaboration with a dynamic ecosystem restoration team within the Southeast.

RES is seeking a Construction Project Manager I with 3+ years of experience based out of our Forsyth, GA / Athens, GA and Nashville, TN offices.     The mission: to own the delivery of small to large environmental restoration construction projects on time, within scope and within budget, in the South East region (some overnight travel might be required).     You will be working with all parties involved in construction projects - with the safety team to ensure safety standards are met; with field and site crews to track project progress and relay that information to management and accounting, etc. You will need excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of budgets and accounting, a team-based mentality, and the ability to navigate through complex projects with complex clients.

RES is looking for an Operator II, based out of our Tennessee office. This position requires full-time travel across Tennessee.      Our Operators work on a variety of stream and wetland restoration projects. This team works across Tennessee on stream-building tasks, as well as, bioretention basins, therefore grading skills are paramount for this job, as well as the ability to get the job completed within tight timeframes and difficult conditions. The team works outside come rain or come shine and is exposed to insects including ticks and mosquitoes, or poisonous plants such as poison ivy. You might need to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.   Work is seasonally steady and requires 50 hours and up to 65 per week for peak months in summer, with opportunities for weekend work during peak periods. Our teams travel up to 80% within the region including overnight stays of 1-5 nights for some job sites.   If you are an avid outdoorsman, a proactive team player, a good listener and want to start your journey in the ecological restoration industry – this is the right job for you.

RES is looking for a Water ResourcesEngineer III in our Brentwood (Nashville), TN office with at least five (5) years of relevant work or educational experience. Work associated with this position will occur throughout the Southeast Region including work in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.     The mission: Manage and/or lead design of stream and wetland restoration projects and stormwater management design plans.   At RES, do not expect to focus solely on design work. You will be involved in all aspects of a successful mitigation restoration project including providing technical input into the land acquisition process, leading initial feasibility site visits, reviewing mitigation design plans, developing technical specifications and directing construction personnel in the field.
