RES is looking for a Ecological Restoration Technician, preferably with 1+ years working in the natural resources field experience, based out of our Lockport, IL office.   The mission: Our Techs work on a variety of projects, including Stream restoration, Stormwater, Restoration planting, Invasive plant removal/management, and Landscape construction. RES is looking to find a Seasonal Restoration Technician for our restoration teams across the state in Janesville, WI. Travel is required throughout the State/Region based on project location. Overnight travel is expected.   The mission: The job will consist of 100% fieldwork ranging from invasive plant removal/management, tree felling, equipment operation, restoration planting, seeding, and maintenance of natural areas through herbicide application and equipment operations. Stream restoration, Stormwater, Restoration planting, Invasive plant removal/management, and Landscape construction are also part of the fieldwork. Work is seasonally steady and will require 40 to 50 hours per week. Opportunities for weekend work during peak periods. Ability to travel up to 25% within the region.   If you are an avid outdoors person and want to start your journey in ecological restoration industry – this is the right job for you.  Please note that we also work outside come rain or come shine, and are exposed to insects including ticks and mosquitoes, or to poisonous plants such as poison ivy. RES is looking for a Water ResourcesEngineer III in our Brentwood (Nashville), TN office with at least five (5) years of relevant work or educational experience. Work associated with this position will occur throughout the Southeast Region including work in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.     The mission: Manage and/or lead design of stream and wetland restoration projects and stormwater management design plans.   At RES, do not expect to focus solely on design work. You will be involved in all aspects of a successful mitigation restoration project including providing technical input into the land acquisition process, leading initial feasibility site visits, reviewing mitigation design plans, developing technical specifications and directing construction personnel in the field.

RES is looking for an Operator I, based out of our Warrenton, VA office. This position may require some travel across Virginia.      The mission: Our Operators work on a variety of stream and wetland restoration projects. This team works across Virginia on stream-building tasks, as well as, bioretention basins and other storm water facilities, therefore grading skills are paramount for this job, as well as the ability to get the job completed within tight timeframes and difficult conditions. The team works outside come rain or come shine and is exposed to insects including ticks and mosquitoes, or poisonous plants such as poison ivy. You might need to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.   Work is seasonally steady and requires 50 hours and up to 65 per week for peak months in summer (while traveling),45-55 hours per week during work done locally and with opportunities for weekend work during peak periods. RES is seeking people interested in a natural resources career as a Restoration Technician based out of our King of Prussia, PA office.   The mission: In the Northeast, RES provides a full array of ecological restoration and consulting services, stream and shoreline construction, wetland mitigation banking, and green infrastructure installation to clients in the private and public sectors, throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.   A successful candidate for this position will be interested in gaining experience in the following areas: invasive plant species control, plant identification, native plant and seed installation and other types of habitat restoration.   This position is full-time but depends on the workload and weather conditions. Overtime hours will be required during peak periods. Depending on the project location, travel and overnight stay within the Northeastern region may be required. Most of the work is outdoors, often in inclement weather and on rugged terrain.
