Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our hardworking team! If you enjoy working outdoors, thrive in a hands-on role, and take pride in delivering high-quality results, this is the job for you. As an Outside Laborer, you’ll be an integral part of our projects, helping with a variety of tasks including site preparation, landscaping, and general labor. You’ll work alongside a skilled crew, contributing to projects that make a tangible impact. The ability to travel 2-4 nights throughout the week on key projects and home on the weekends. Per Diem and hotel stay provided.

What your day-to-day might look like?

No two days are exactly the same, but here's a glimpse into what your day-to-day might look like:

Morning Kickoff

  • Start your day by reviewing detailed work specifications and plans for the day’s tasks.
  • Conduct safety checks on all tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and readiness.

Tool Operation

  • Operate a variety of tools, including power tools like drills and circular saws, as well as landscape equipment like chainsaws and weed eaters, to perform critical tasks on-site.

Hands-On Erosion Control

  • Work hands-on to implement erosion and sediment control measures, following detailed specifications to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining traffic control systems to ensure safety around the work area.

Problem-Solving on the Go

  • Analyze the site and adapt to changing conditions, making quick decisions to address any challenges that arise during the day.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Continuous Learning

  • Expand your understanding of erosion control methods and traffic control protocols, applying this knowledge to improve your work each day.

End-of-Day Wrap-Up

  • Clean and store tools and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the next day.
  • Review completed tasks with your supervisor to confirm everything meets the required standards and specifications.

This role requires physical stamina, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Every day brings new challenges, making it a rewarding position for someone who enjoys hands-on work and making a direct impact on the environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Capable of walking over uneven surfaces, climbing on construction equipment, and navigating hills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks at ground level.
