Overview

Join our dynamic Fleet team as a Field Support Administrator (Fleet / DOT Compliance), where you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and compliance of our fleet and field construction activities within the Southeast region. Your expertise in DOT, FMCSA regulations, and fleet management will be vital in supporting our operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

At RES, we are committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient fleet that supports our field operations. As a Field Support Administrator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and ensure our operations run smoothly. If you are detail-oriented, knowledgeable in fleet compliance, and eager to make an impact, we encourage you to apply.

What your day-to-day might look like?

As a Field Support Administrator, your day will revolve around ensuring our fleet operations adhere to all necessary regulations. You will act as the primary resource for Fleet/DOT compliance, ensuring we meet all Federal, State, and Local requirements. This includes managing and maintaining compliance of CDL and DOT driver records, regularly reviewing driver logs, and coordinating essential drug and alcohol testing.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll work closely with field operations to monitor vehicle and equipment utilization, ensuring that all assets are both operational and compliant. Your responsibilities will also include scheduling and coordinating the mobilization of equipment and materials for various projects, as well as acquiring the necessary local and state hauling permits.

Safety is RES’s top priority, and you’ll utilize GPS systems to monitor key safety KPIs and vehicle locations, providing detailed reports to management to help maintain a secure and efficient operation. In addition to these tasks, you’ll assist with sourcing activities by ordering parts and supplies, and coordinating vendor schedules to support fleet maintenance functions.

Training is another important aspect of your day-to-day duties. You’ll conduct compliance and safety training sessions for staff, fostering a culture of safety and awareness within the team. Finally, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data records across various platforms will be essential to ensure compliance and effective reporting.

This role is primarily office-based, requiring regular use of computers and participation in video and in-person meetings. Occasional lifting of packages up to 35lbs and the ability to drive non-CDL vehicles to and from repair facilities may be required.
