Opportunities may include projects for large landscape-level flood mitigation; urban, sub-urban and rural stormwater retrofits; stream and wetland restoration; living shorelines; canal retrofits and nutrient reduction projects related to EPA’s Impaired Waters Rule/Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and Florida’s Basin Management Action Plans (BMAPs).

Your day to day design tasks and projects may  include feasibility assessments, water resources design, plan development, cost estimating, post design, and seeing projects that you had a hand in designing built in the field.

Work products are expected to be detailed, clear, and concise, so be ready to shine with your communication skills during the interview. You will be working on several projects simultaneously, so superior attention to detail, feedback, and the ability to prioritize are paramount.
