The mission: The Horticultural Assistant will assist in a variety of horticultural activities at the direction of a supervisor or team leader, including containerized native plant and seed propagation, production, growing and inventory control from start to finish. Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and beneficial agents will be part of your routine, all meticulously recorded and communicated to the supervisor for effective plant health care.

The relocation of stock, seed sowing, and other production activities will also fall under your purview.

All these tasks will be carried out with a commitment to safety, ceasing work immediately if unsafe conditions are identified and promptly reporting and correcting any such concerns.
