    RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 294 stream miles and 58,000 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 9,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 14,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 250 tons of polluting nutrients. RES ecological solutions enable a balance economic development and ecological sustainability.

    Responsibilities

    RES is currently accepting applications for a Project Manager II in our Raleigh, NC office. The Project Manager II will be responsible for independently delivering small to large projects on-time, within scope and within budget. This person will also coordinate internal and external resources for the successful execution of project phases. Additional responsibilities include developing project scopes, schedules, and costs and QA/QC. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Technical and/or regulatory leadership relevant to project development
    • Geographic information systems and/or computer aided drafting and design
    • Develop and manage the full range of project tasks from inception to completion
    • Evaluate sites based on regulatory and technical requirements and constraints
    • Communicate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field
    • 6+ years of progressive experience in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field; 5+ years of Project Management experience within the 6+ years
    • Must be proficient in project management software
    • Ability to work independently and drive a project from conception to completion with little guidance
    • Experienced in technical and/or regulatory and financial fundamentals relevant to project development
    • Experienced planning, scheduling, and executing the full range of project tasks for projects that may range from small or large
    • Experience estimating and evaluating bids from subcontractors, and managing subcontractors
    • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams to execute tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Experience evaluating all aspects of projects based on an understanding of regulatory and/or technical requirements and financial metrics

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Advanced Degree or additional qualifications such as certifications (PMP)
    • Proficiency in geographic information systems and/or computer aided drafting and design
