    RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 180 stream miles and 40,400 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 6,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 11,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 240 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability.


    The Land Legal Assistant will assist in-house counsel and the Land department with management of real estate transactions and real property holdings.



    • Assist, and in certain instances manage, real estate closings across multiple states and varying asset types
    • Assist with title work, surveys and other real estate transaction due diligence
    • Maintain physical and electronic files including a real property schedule and schedule of outstanding real estate contracts and their critical date




    • Two-year degree
    • A minimum of two-years’ experience in corporate real estate or land work
    • Experience with real estate closings (commercial and/or residential)
    • Experience preparing real estate documents (PSAs, Easements/ROWs, etc.)
    • Ability to learn to read surveys, legal descriptions, and title commitment materials
    • Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to learn Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM software
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid time management and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player



    • Four-year degree OR two-year degree coupled with a paralegal certificate
