    The Stormwater Project Manager is responsible for project planning, design plans and calculations, permitting, construction administration, studies, and surveys for stormwater projects in southeastern Pennsylvania. The Project Manager will conduct design and construction supervision and quality assurance / quality control to ensure projects are executed as planned, as well as on time and on budget.  Management responsibilities will also include the preparation of requests for proposals, budgetary estimates, contract specifications, and project schedules.

     

    The Project Manager will prepare design plans, calculations, reports, and permit applications to support project development. The Project Manager with oversee field tasks including subsurface investigations and topographic surveys.  The successful candidate will have the skills and abilities to build relationships with contractors, consultants, and clients by responding to requests and communicating information in a timely manner.  The Project Manager will perform other duties as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the planning and execution of RES projects through all phases of project development, including; preliminary site investigations and data collection, evaluation of stormwater best management practices, topographic and utility surveys, design, permit preparation and submittal, agency review and meetings, construction, maintenance, and monitoring field work and reporting
    • Prepare site designs, estimates, permit documents, and construction documents
    • Perform all aspects of project QA/QC

    Qualifications

    • Bacher of Science Degree or higher
    • Several or more years of experience in civil site design or a related field is required

    • Five or more years of experience in storm water infrastructure design is desired

    • Proficiency in various hydrologic and hydraulic design software packages, AutoCAD Civil 3D

    • Strong background in engineering technology and computer-aided drafting and design is required

    • Strong understanding of surveying, soil mechanics, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and 3D civil site design

    • Stormwater best management practice design experience
    • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and organization
    • Strong work ethic and ability to get the job completed with tight timeframes and difficult conditions
    • Excellence in oral and written communications
