    RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 294 stream miles and 58,000 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 9,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 14,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 250 tons of polluting nutrients. RES ecological solutions enable a of balance economic development and ecological sustainability.


    The Senior Project Manager will prepare design plans, calculations, reports, and permit applications to support project development. The Senior Project Manager with oversee field tasks including subsurface investigations and topographic surveys.  The successful candidate will have the skills and abilities to build relationships with contractors, consultants, and clients by responding to requests and communicating information in a timely manner.  The Senior Project Manager will perform other duties as required.


    • Develops and manages project scopes, schedule, and budgets
    • Manages large or complex projects and open-end contracts
    • Maintains client relationship in coordination with Client Solutions Manager
    • Maintains internal and external project reporting
    • Plans and coordinates internal and external resources for the execution of the project
    • Provides sales support to CSMs on new project opportunities within emerging markets or new clients
    • Accountable for overall project performance
    • Responsible for maintaining updated and accurate project reporting
    • Responsible for preparing RFP responses and selecting consultants
    • Responsible for creating teams with other firms
    • Responsible for quality of project deliverables, whether prepared internally or externally
    • Responsible for timely notifications to the GM and client of any significant project changes and preparing change orders
    • Responsible for coordinating regional and corporate project management training and initiatives
    • Assists General Manager with resource planning and reporting
    • Manages teaming agreements and consultants
    • Manage the project management team
    • Responsible for training staff
    • Responsible for QA/QC




    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field
    • 7+ years of progressive experience in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field
    • 5+ years of Project Management experience
    • Experience managing  project team members and subcontractors


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field and formal training or certification in relevant fields
    • Formal project management training
    • 12+ years of progressive experience in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field
    • 7+ years of Project Management experience

     Physical demand:

    • Driving on and off-road, site visits in challenging environments, lifting and carrying field equipment and supplies


    • Based in Pittsburgh, PA; office and field environments
    • Overnight travel required
