    RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 294 stream miles and 58,024 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 9,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 14,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 250 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability through the establishment of mitigation/conservation banks, permittee responsible turnkey mitigation, and corporate social responsibility projects.


    The objective of the GIS & CAD Enterprise Manager is to create and develop a best-in-class GIS/CAD program and to manage, coach and train relevant personnel.



    • Administers the ESRI Enterprise GIS program
    • Manages and makes determinations on license types, quantities and related budgets
    • Manages and makes determination on hardware and software requirements and budgets
    • Manages 8-10 direct reports and prioritizes work activities of these reports
    • Creates and implements SOP’s for the GIS/ CAD program
    • Coaches and trains employees on relevant work
    • Migrates data to Enterprise server
    • Acts as a consultant for project management requests and acts as SME for all GIS / CAD concerns
    • Provides GIS & CAD technical assistance to all departments and employees
    • Troubleshoots problems encountered by all GIS/CAD users
    • Will create shareable and multi-purpose templates




    • BS/BA
    • 4 or more years experience with ArcGIS Enterprise
    • Heavy user of ArcGIS with advanced knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise
    • Experience with Cartography and ability to create templates
    • Spatial analysis, Drone mapping, 3D analysis
    • Ability to work in an adaptive and evolving environment
    • Good communication skills with all levels
    • Experience with database management and data migration
    • Experience working directly with ESRI
    • Ability to install and configure GIS software



    • BS Civil Engineering or BS Geographic Information Systems
    • 5 or more years of progressively responsible GIS systems experience with a computerized GIS system (ArcGIS)
    • Experience developing and customizing GIS software, web maps, and tools and automating processes using scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, HTML5, APIs, SDKs, etc. is desired
    • Familiarity of Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Professions is preferred
