    RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 180 stream miles and 40,400 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 6,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 11,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 240 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability.


    The Client Solutions Project Manager (CSPM) is responsible for direct sales support via project planning, concept development, field data collection and calculations, and technical support for stream, wetland, stormwater, species, green infrastructure and water quality projects throughout RES Region 4.


    The CSPM will work closely with Client Solutions Managers (CSMs), clients and project partners to develop technical components of project concepts that lead into proposal development and responses to procurement requests. Responsibilities will also include the preparation of proposals, budgetary estimates, concept maps and plans, land analysis and market demand analysis. The CSPM will support all functions of sales by assisting the CSM in developing the client trusted advisor relationship, driving the RES solution by engaging the project team on proposal submittals, and helping to build and maintain the sales pipeline. A successful candidate will have the skills and abilities to interact with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors and regulatory agencies by communicating proactively and responding to requests in a timely manner.


    • Manage the development of project concepts, proposals, analysis reports, site investigations and data collection, evaluation of stormwater best management practices, topographic and utility surveys, and GIS deliverables
    • Participate in client/consultant meetings and agency pre-application and review meeting
    • Review and QA/QC engineering and design drawings and other client project documents from client and outside consultants
    • Identify and evaluate deal opportunities, in addition to those found by Business Development and Solutions Analysts, and enable deal navigation with CSMs
    • Prepare concept maps, estimates, proposal documents and reports
    • Calculate impact/offset scenarios based on projected project designs
    • Perform or assist in all aspects of proposal development and QA/QC
    • Networking within industry associations and conference attendance



    • BS/BA degree
    • Five (5) years of experience in the same disciplines listed below


    • BS/BA in a field with direct nexus to job description; Masters/advanced degree program a plus
    • Eight (8) or more years of project management experience related to the scoping, evaluation, engineering, design, construction, ownership, and maintenance of wetland and stream restoration and/or stormwater management facilities
    • Direct working experience with RES client base comprising private and public-sector infrastructure developers in addition to federal, state and municipal government entities
    • Proficiency in GIS mapping
    • Strong background in regulation surrounding and practical application of wetland and stream restoration ecology/design, stormwater BMPs, green infrastructure, etc.
    • Strong understanding of surveying, soil mechanics, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and 3D civil site design
    • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings

    • This position requires travel, overnight stays, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
