Overview

RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 180 stream miles and 40,400 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 6,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 11,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 240 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability.

 

The Solutions Analyst will work in support of the Client Solutions Manager to drive sales by establishing trusted advisor relationships with clients, prioritizing RES team execution against qualified demand, and delivering comprehensive solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

 

  • Works in lock-step with assigned CSM throughout all stages of deal development, providing CSM with critical analysis and deliverables to enable parallel processing of multiple deal opportunities
  • Supports the client relationship and prospects/identifies/enables prioritization of potential deals
  • Informs and supports the deal – responsible for production of presentations, maps, impact/offset analyses, qualifications packages, white papers, proposals, and other key client deliverables
  • Supports building and maintaining Sales Pipeline and converting Pipeline items into Bookings
  • Vets market research from Market Development Analysts and takes action with CSM accordingly
  • Identifies opportunities in addition to those found by Market Development Analysts
  • Supports relationships with stakeholders in target geography, including consultants
  • Coordinates logistics for client/stakeholder events and outreach

  • Client Solutions Manager and other members of RES Regional & Corporate Teams inclusive of Business Development, Sales, Land, Regulatory/Project Management, Operations, Government Affairs, Finance and Legal
  • RES Client Base (Energy/Power& Utilities/Industrial/Commercial/Government/Private/NGO)
  • Environmental Consulting/Permitting/Engineering Firms; Federal & State Regulatory Agencies

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

 

  • BS/BA
  • Analytical, Sales or other professional experience

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Direct working experience with RES key client sectors (Energy/Power & Utilities/Industrial/ Commercial/Government/Private/NGO)
  • BS/BA with 4+ years of applicable professional experience

  • Client-focused, performance-driven execution
  • Environmental/Engineering/Project Development/Regulatory/NGO Experience
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
