RES operations include planting over 11,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 240 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability.



  • Collaborating with leadership and technical staff to author industry articles and white pages, proposal sections, and marketing collateral
  • Writing and editing clear proposal sections; translating technical and other ideas into easily understandable text
  • Coordinating with marketing on content for documents such as white papers, case studies and industry award applications
  • Supporting lead identification through market research – experience with FedBizOpps, eVA, and Find RFP (or equivalent) preferred
  • Ensuring corporate brand messages are being represented correctly and communicated properly
  • Creating boilerplate documents
  • Managing multiple assignments simultaneously while working independently and with other writers


  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical/proposal editing/writing role or similar capacity
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related discipline
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word & PowerPoint)
  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player mindset
  • A willingness to learn and work above and beyond
  • Determination and dependability
  • Some travel expected

Additional Skills

  • Experience using Adobe InDesign
  • Experience in the Environmental or Architectural, Construction, Engineering industry
