RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. RES is accepting resumes for a Project Manager (5-15 years of experience) to lead environmental projects and mange new and existing client relationships in either of our Northern Virginia Offices (Warrenton or Fairfax, Virginia) or our Maryland Office (Odenton, Maryland).
The desired candidate’s primary responsibilities would include maintaining and advancing new and existing client relationships while overseeing successful completion of environmental projects such as Section 401/404 permitting, environmental assessments, coordination with regulatory agencies, ecological design and restoration/construction, and other environmental permitting. A successful candidate will have familiarity and project experience in the Maryland and Northern Virginia area.
Additional responsibilities may include soliciting and preparing new proposals, identifying potential new clients and/ or new avenues of business utilizing personal experience and internal feedback on industry trends.
The preferred candidate will possess a B.S. in an environmental science, civil engineering, or related field (such as but not limited to ecology, botany, geology, soils, etc.). Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates will have excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, knowledge and experience with Federal/State/Local environmental regulations, and work well in a team setting.
