RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 180 stream miles and 40,400 wetland acres and conserved and preserved 6,100 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 11,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 240 tons of polluting nutrients. RES has an immediate need for part-time Erosion & Sediment Control Inspectors in the Newport News, VA area.
The position entails moderate to strenuous hiking on rough/muddy terrain in adverse weather conditions in and around active construction sites. MS Office and Adobe software proficiency is a must, as are the abilities to accurately document field observations, and follow job-specific, and varying procedures exactly.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and reliable with impeccable attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide exemplary customer service to a variety of clients and personnel.
Four-year environmental degree preferred. Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
